London Financial Times (FT) reported that the United States intends to ban Nvidia and other U.S. manufacturers from selling key chips to Haikongwei, a Chinese mainland security monitoring plant, for fear that Haikongwei will face key components.“Cut out the cooking”It has a serious impact on its operation.

Haikangwei is the world's leading security control company. With the support of the mainland Chinese government, Haikangwei has swept the market in recent years. It has joined forces with Dahua, another mainland Chinese security control factory, to seize more than 40% of the market share, which has made Taiwan's manufacturers suffer a lot.

If Haikang Video's key components are blocked by the US side, it will help Taiwan's security control giant Jingrui, Qieven and so on to win more market share.

Following the passage of the Defense Authorization Act by the U.S. House of Representatives in August, which prohibited the U.S. government from buying Chinese-made surveillance cameras, including Haikangwei, Dahua, Hainengda, ZTE and other manufacturers, the U.S. once again opened its eyes to Haikangwei, the leading security control company in China.

With the prolongation of Sino-US trade war and the 10% tariff list of specially monitored products, many European and American manufacturers originally looking for OEMs in mainland China have sought support from Taiwan and South Korea security control plants outside mainland China. The effect of the order transfer will be more obvious next year, and Jingrui, Qieven, and ODM Caifu and winning products will benefit.

The Financial Times reports that the US may sanction Haikangwei and its Chinese officials for human rights violations, and demand that Intel, Invidia and other chip factories ban the sale of key chips to Haikangwei to produce high-end security control products.

The move could have a serious impact on Haikang Video, because the core components behind its most advanced products, from the precise chips that start its popular smart machinery to the hardware that stores high-quality movies, are produced by Intel, Invida and other companies.
