Intel and AMD are old enemies who have been in love and murder for half a century, but one thing is that their attitudes are basically the same. Intel Graphics officials today said that Intel will support adaptive vertical synchronization technology, and invited Lisa Pearce, vice president of the company and director of visual and parallel computing platforms, to comment through a video, saying that for adaptive synchronization technology, Intel gives priority to docking existing interfaces, and ultimately no longer pursues private standards.
Clearly, Intel and AMD are in the same camp this time, and will learn a lot from AMD's technology and contributions.
However, Intel's existing core display support for adaptive vertical synchronization is almost hopeless. It may wait for a new architecture in the 10nm Ice Lake era, or even for an independent graphics card in 2020-2021, which is confirmed to be supported anyway.
